In order to obtain a visa to Russia applicants should provide the following:

Business visa

1. A valid, signed passport (no copies), with visas pages available. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the expected departure.
2. One filled out visa application form
3. Printed and filled out order form.
4. One passport-size photo.
5. An official Invitation Letter from the Russian Ministry of the Interior, its local offices or the Russian Foreign Ministry, its regional representatives, or any other authorized Russian agency. The letter must contain:
   • official seal and legal address of the agency,
   • document registration number,
   • date of registration,
   • signature and name of an authorized official,
   • travel itinerary,
   • dates of stay,
   • names of persons invited

Homestay (visitor) visas

1. A valid, signed passport (no copies), with visas pages available. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the expected departure.
2. One filled out visa application form
3. Printed and filled out order form.
4. One passport-size photo.
5. Original OVIR permission - IZVESHCHENIE (Invitation Letter). Your relatives or friends in Russia should obtain IZVESHCHENIE for you from local authorities (OVIR) and send it to your address in the USA.

Tourist Visa

1. A valid, signed passport (no copies), with visas pages available. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the expected departure.
2. One filled out visa application form
3. Printed and filled out order form.
4. One passport-size photo.
5. A standard tourist confirmation from a hosting authorized Russian travel agency or a hotel, registered with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a voucher from your hotel or travel agency in Russia. The confirmation must contain the agency's reference number and registration number.

Transit visa

1. A valid, signed passport (no copies), with visas pages available. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the expected departure.
2. One filled out visa application form
3. Printed and filled out order form.
4. One passport-size photo.
5. A copy of the passport page with the visa of the country you are going to and from.
6. Copies of the airline tickets.
